Are there yoga mats and equipment?

Students must provide their own mats and equipment at this time.

What if i miss a class?

You can make up your class by attending another class during the term. The teacher will suggest the appropriate class to attend based on your level of experience.

I’m not flexible enough for yoga.

Yoga is for everyone and is not based on ones flexibility. It’s very good for those who are a bit stiff, creating more ease and ROM in the joints and lengthening those muscles. However the benefits go beyond that with feeling more calm, centred and grounded after a practice. Think of it as a moving meditation as well!

why 12 week blocks?

For several reasons. To name a few….having a commitment to 12 weeks helps to build a sustained practice, acountability, and community for your practice. As for beginners, the course builds on itself week by week and it takes this amount of time to get through the course.
